It doesnt matter even if Buddha is present when a person who is deaf cannot hear the words of Dharma from holy one. So it does not matter how much wealth or potentials we have, if pathetic leaders abuse the system like it is a bitch. I wonder if there has ever been a patriotic leaders ever in the last 50 years.
What I have seen is mostly egomaniac, greedy and selfish thinking even among most educated and well to do people. We cannot appreciate those who do good jobs and promote sense of respects and community belonging. This selfish attitude from the top leaders have influenced every fabric of our society.
Many people I talked to regret how Nepal, such a liveable place has lost its very simple common sense of respect, sharing and belonging in the last 15 years. Unless we learn who we are rather than trying to copy what outsider does, I see nothing but chaos and selfishness fighting each other just like now.
