While in Nepal me and my buddies were just busy not associating ourselves with Nepali and Hindi songs listners. We thought we were much cooler by just listening to English Music. I came to US right after school as when i was trying to understand more about western English music. First few years in US i was too busy following the English bands and that thirst was fulfilled quite quickly. We drove 1000 miles following bands in college days. Then it started getting old, i was looking more into quality western in my early 20s, those days i used to listen to the classics like Led Zeppling and Pink Floyds.

In my 20s when i heard Nepali music in the Nepali cultural nights and such it started giving me better feelings. I started liking our Lok beats in the parties...thats when i started increasing the appetite for Nepali music and decrease the western music. I started listening to the music more than hearing it. To be honest with you...i have heard lots of Hindi songs..but i have never really listened to any.
