ashu, thanks for the news. i have been a lurker at sajha for sometime and always enjoy your updates from Nepal. also i look forward to your column at nepali times. yeah it does give you the chills that the choice of love and marriage would have to be approved by the Maoists when and if their janayudhya is successful. "If the party sees a good 'fit' between you and love interest, it then arranges your marriage." i wonder how they decide if one is fit for another. hitler liked to use the same theory but used the race card instead. if maoists don the role of matchmakers, they might learn to use the personality and physical attraction profiles used by internet dating services like match.com or e-harmony.com. that would be something, wouldn't it? btw, the title of this thread reminded me of Gabriel Garcia Marquez's classic " Love In the time of Cholera." i have not read that but i will once i finish " One hundred years of Solitude." keep us posted. mG.
