You messed up, man. And you've got only yourself to blame for the situation that you're in right now.
I apologize for coming out strongly but seriously, what on Earth were you thinking when you were financially supporting her? What really prompted you to such folly, I really wonder.
Its been said that you can't trust with money, even if its your parents or relatives. When you lend it easily, like in your current case, you become a weak link. It reflects your weakness.I highly doubt your ex-girlfriend begged you to support you.
I've noticed that a number of Nepalese living in the States carry this massive ego that urges them to support their girlfriends financially in different levels. You go out to dinner, go on a date, go out bowling or clubbing, a guy's likely to reach for his pockets, find his CC and pay off the bills. This is what leads them to troubles later on. A girlfriend or even a significant other is just your other half. You gotta know when to control your vices. Fun is fun but when you overwhelm your girl with luxuries and riches, you're likely to be taken into granted.
Under most situations, its perfectly ok for a girl to help ease the financial burden.
Also, I've got doubts about the way your girl dumped you. There's gotta be something more to it than the story you're telling us.
Anyways, there's no point dwelling on the mishap. You gotta move on man. You've learned a life-long lesson, that's for sure. So from now on, unless she's the girl you're gonna spend your life with, don't ever make such foolish decisions.
