Do you really know what is Khas and who are khas???? Originally chhetris are of the khas origin. Bahuns started calling themselves a khas only after Janajati and other so called aboriginals movement. Bahuns used to call "Khasetro" derogatorally to chhetris untill few years back. Khas are the most deprived people living most misreable life in Nepal. Do you know how they live in Humla, Jumla, Mugu, Kalikot, Bajura ???

Stop poliiticizing everything. Language is a tool to make communication. Chhetris & thakuris (Khas) because of their tradition to join Nepal Army spreaded all over Nepal during different unification campaign. In addition, they are the most populated people. So, Nepali language automatically became common language of communication. My hometown is near India, all the bussinessmen and locals of Indian town adjancen to my hometown speak Nepali language. Have you ever been to Sikkim? Marwadis, biharis, bhutia, lepchas and all other non-nepali people speak fluent Nepali. Do you have any logic how they could speak Nepali ???........tyaha pani khas kai haikambad chalyo hola haina???
