Basically, you are saying that you screwed up here, your arguments are no longer defensible by any other means and you have to resort to telling people that you have a PhD in Chemistry (the degree which is probably worth wiping your ass and not much given how you write and think) and they  have to listen to your Gagan-bashing in this case because you have a phd from some shitty school and you are a postdoc somewhere.
