I once had a friend who said that the only reason we could create a NEW NEPAL will be after we commit mass suicide but preserve our semen and eggs and fuse them after our death. The new set of off-springs will then be under tutelage of some western country, Ideally Switzerland or Denmark. There will be politics, enmity and racism, among them as well, but its magnitude will be far less than what we have currently. We learn from our parents, teachers, friends, colleagues and more and we blend into their way of belief, but what if those beliefs are incorrect? How do we judge ourselves? Our viles keep escalating generations after generations. This is exactly what happened here, we worshipped Ganeshman and Girija during revolution, cursed Queen Aishwarya beyond limits, we even signed a petition to incarcerate Paras a decade ago, and we suddenly forgot all that, because now everyone else believes in the opposite, and we are expected to do just that.

Everyone wants a piece of cake, it is not a hidden truth. If I were Sujata, and if I knew I could get away with embezzling millions of dollars, I would commit that crime in a heartbeat. Therefore whoever rants about wrong-doing here are disgruntled individuals who’ll never have a chance to make it big and therefore preach ‘holier than thou’. Everyone has a price, everyone’s on sale as long as they find a way not to get caught. People like Sna are perfect example of imbecile Nepalese youth - flagrant words, emotions running amok, foolhardy temperament, every necessary evil but logical thinking. However, if given a chance of marrying a Bangladeshi who’s a US citizen, they’d nosedive right on.

Like you said refail, Nepalese congress will make hue and cry out of this, some royalists will readily garner support of Paras, and you and me just look on, and shake our head thinking ‘here we go again’. Funny how every one of us chip in our ideas without solutions, but isn’t it better than be biased and making a bigger fool of ourselves again?
