If you're young below 25 and unmarried, I would suggest you to join National Guard. It's very easy as you could straightly contact any NG liasion officer to enroll. They've age limit up to 35 or so. But, being young is important as you get lots of opportunities including free tuition, VA incentives, and job advantage (employer gives quota etc).
