An interesting thing to note within these leaks are they all involve the US. So it is reasonable to suppose that the leak is coming from a US source.

Another thing to keep a lookout for is new developments in different parts of the world that may be staged to diffuse the attention due to the leaks.

As far as GDP, I am not sure but it's merely my opinion that the GDP  will most likely not factor in the line item for sale of high priced weaponry such as atomic bomb or a nuke.
