Dr. Ram Baran Yadav (Nepali: रामवरण यादव) (born 4 February 1948)[citation needed] is the current President of Nepal. He was elected in July 2008 and is the country's first President. He previously served as Minister of Health, and as General Secretary of the Nepali Congress party.
