Bale is def. doin great so far this season, but I really hope he won't be one season hit.
U said Bale has been magnificent since last season where as Messi has been one of the best since 2007 n look at his impact in Barca where they have/ had one of the best players in each position. 62 games 62 goals since last season and goin, top scorer in CL in 2 yr in a row and seems like he is on his way to top again , youngest player to score 30+ goals in CL beatin Raul's record and the list goes on.
Furthermore, Ribery, Robben(RM outcast) play in Germany but still considered one of the bests.
Batistuta played in Fiorentina and Roma, but is considered one of the best striker of the game.
Its not only players in CL, but, tactics count alot like how they play in home matches and use different strategy in away matches in KO stage. Anything can happen in football but team should be good enough to make that "anything" to happen or atleast be able to fight.
