Hey monkey, A friend of mine joined last year as a black hawk tech. and he is loving it, and Thats a good thing BUT please make sure its the MAVNI program. ThenYou can go back to school free from the Army with the GI bill and other programs. Make sure you do your research and only go ok, once you get in its a commitment and a huge change of life. remember this is a country at war and at somepoint you will be deployed so TRY and AVOID the Infantry divison, say you want to join the support, like tank repair, black hawk repair etc, in that case you remein in the base which is mostly a safe zone.
