Our culture is moving ahead as the Hollywood and Bollywood side by side. Every body wanted to capture the luxury that is seen in TV as well in the city it has been displayed.
Long time ago I got a chance to read " Religion and Ethics" by Jyoit Basu. He is a communist leader and his opinion are against religion. I read it being bias and look at the logic and the character of our god, it is always the mightiest and strongest is the better and you can do what ever you can and you will have followers and you can prove it and which is done by the Maoist.
In the religious book we see foul play but it is supported by their own logic, but the same logic does not apply to others. Example Saraswati was other's wife and she was beautiful but taken forcefully, so did bali to Hanuman's wife. Bali was the bravest the brave in the earth, in the story he hold Ravan in his tail for couple months, if Ram had asked for his help there would not be any Ramayan story, but there was a politics to put him down therefore Ram assured Hunuman to return his wife if kills Bali.
Any thing with logic that is appropriate or in the eye of society or law does not matter but it is individual logic which we have learned from our religious book that do the best that suits for you.
So the corruption, unethical work and so become part of our culture. We embraced them and we wanted to be reach as our next neighbor who joined a political party and used to live in one room, now build a bungalow, or the kharidar now owns a Mercedes Benz and has the nicest house and have mosaic in his bathroom though it is just an health hazard being slippery due to wet toilet but it is how we show off.
I see many of us here in sajha and talk about the corruption by politicians but few of us like to look ourselves? I am talking about my family , how he made that much money to send me to a privet school where my cousins are still having hard time to go to public school, we disagree to look ourselves then we can not change any thing.
This will be going nowhere but just a topic for talking.
If you comment on corruption it must start from our home and make it a movement to further. Can we do it? If we can we can change the history.
We are responsible for it, our culture and religion are part of the corruption process. We have cast system that is not British rule, they took is from Hinduism, Divide and rule, we are divided may ways, politically, racially, cast, wealth, power and the most dangerous one is the WELL EDUCATED who brought many books and now are part of our religion.
