You can return within 5 minutes...so, no doubt you will have no problem to return the next day.

Line up in the immigration, tell them you are for landing, you will be guided to landing procedure...few questions by immi officer, don't forget to give an address to mail your PR card. It will take roughly 5 minutes, then go out and if you wish check in again and fly out....thats it all. Don't forget the landing paper (COPR) with a sign from immi officer. By the way, do you think you can have a decent life in Canada? I have not much idea, just return back in 1 week. For me it was really poor infrastructured country, led by BA and BComs. Probably people from US find it better in terms of infrastructure, security and quality of life (of course health insurance!). I saw some people graduated from US doing BA/BS again in Canada.
