I get offended when people ask me where I am from?

My thoughts are in rhyme with Catchmeifyoucan's.

I used to work in a gas station. I was referred to as Amigo too many times and been told a long spanish sentence to whom I would reply pakito espanol. Been greeted Asamalekum to which I reply, " I ain't no Muslim man."  to be replied back by "Sorry bro..God Bless You."  I dare not reply them, " I ain't no Christian either." because I know they donot have their IQs  beyond that. There was one funny instance once when a seemingly educated black lady came to our store looking for coffee. The coffee we had over there was prepared like 8 hours back and she was trying to heat it up in the microwave. Out of the concern I told her, " Why don't u get the cappuccino it's fresh. This coffee is too old." She replied back, " You gotto be in America for at least 10 years to feel the coffee." She was driving a Lexus SUV, dressed well and looked educated but still had that ghetto trait. We got into a big argument because I tried to charge her more for that coffee..I had to charge her more because she hurt my ego and she attempted to be racist when all I was trying to do was remind her that we got something fresher too.. And there are times when people ask my name. They are trying confirm their assumption that I am a Muslim. I tell  my name is Mohammed and that would mean the end of the conversation between us.
