A nursing mother, who had given birth to a child only 10 days ago, committed suicide in Morang district, Tuesday night.

Kalpana Chaudhari, 28, wife of Ram Bahadur Chaudhari hung herself at her house in Tallojuda of Dangihat VDC-5.

Police said initial investigation have shown that Kalpana might have committed suicide after being frustrated over not being able to give proper medical treatment to her new born baby owing to her family's poor financial condition
