A simple question...What motivates you?

If you are in the US, please make sure that whatever you do and choose is something you like and passionate about. Remember, there is no social and family pressure and that you're free to choose, and whatever you choose. There will always be something that you can make a living out of it in this land. Don't try to be computer scientist when you have no passion nor the capability. In the long run, there is nobody to hound you or pressure you to be a doctor when all you want is to be a "designer" (Prabal Gurung for example).
Most Nepali people (esp older generations) who came to the US decades ago fall under the category and are in limbo spiritually and mentally. Yea...they have a good job, house and status among the Nepali peers but most of them did it without passion, all washed up with Nepal view of success of wealth and power through hook or crook, not about passion. Their capability gets saturated and hence they cannot think outside of the box, hoard mentality. Sadly,I fall under the same category.

Do something that you're truly passionate about and don't get forced into anything because of this and that.
My 2 cents advice to our budding newer generation. Good luck with your future.
