When it comes to being successful or publicly claiming a success, be like a Nepali politician who would make a regular trip to one of the neighboring countries on crores of rupees in expenses and claim the trip "very successful" without having to reveal any clear agenda before the visit actually starts.
Basically they adjust the expected result as found in actual result and claim it a "Success" to avoid appearing as being wasteful of authority, time, and money.
Getting back to Summer5 at her comment:

Your response sounds like an answer to an imaginary comment from me "Figure out your career/lifelong goal by yourself".

Seriously, you need to put yourself through a thorough SWOT analysis of yourself if and only if you are even slightly concerned about your future unless you want to take life as it comes as some are suggesting here.
