Sadman wrote about Jyoti Dhital and that he is waiting for 28,000 and this is nothing to do with Green Card.
I heard about Jyoti Dhital in Nepal. His ex-wife Sweta is a friend of my wife's (they went to school together). Sweta said that she and Jyoti got into an agreement to purchase a gas station and put down a deposit of $10K with Shyam & Shanti.
Sweta was still married at time. They ran the gas station for almost a year but then, there was friction in the marriage (apparently the guy - Jyoti was physically abusive). Although Sweta wanted to honor the contract, Jyoti wanted to get out of it without paying. Jyoti just left his kid and wife and left the country to go to Canada. Shyam and Shanti just took the deposit of $10K but did not pursue the matter.
According to Sweta Jyoti owed more to Shyam & Shanti, not the other way around. He also took all of their savings so she was left with nothing. So I don't know what story Sadman heard from Jyoti, but this is from the wife's side.
