You can apply for the FBI/Police clearance report, 3 months before you send your initial application to Canada (CIO). I dont think you need to wait until they (canadian immigration) send you the 120 days deadline to collect paperworks.....................this reply might not apply for those who has already applied, but it can be helpful to other.
Bank statement and medical report needs to be within that 120 days period.............. but ielts, tef, job experience letter + FBI Clearance can be issued earlier. Only make sure that IELTS/TEF is not older than 1 year and Police/FBI clearance report not older than 3 months before you send your initial application to CIO, Sydney.
