I am utterly confused now. I was under the impression that the couple took money from people promising to apply for their green cards but never did. However, Sadman777 said, "Anyways, the victims finally learned that there were too many
applications in one year, and all of their apps were denied". Does this mean that the couple did in fact apply for the green card for these people through their restaurant? I am not saying that these people aren't greedy, they definitely are but so are the 'victims' who wanted a green card. I have a hard time believing that these greedy 'victims' who wanted to get a green card by fraudulent means didn't know that all this couple could do for them was apply for the green card, the decision to grant it or deny it is upon the government. Did these 'victims' think that the couple would print the green card and give it to them? If this couple had taken money from people promising to apply for green card but hadn't done so then I would be completely outraged but since it sounds like they did apply for the green card I think it's just a matter of being a bit too greedy. Wasn't this couple (who are established in the US and have proper papers) taking a big risk by applying for green card of people who didn't actually work for them? Didn't they have more to lose (considering that they are established in the US) if the government found out that they had applied for fraudulent sponsorship?

Now, I know nothing about this couple except for the stuff Sadam777 wrote, they might be two crooks who are willing to do anything for money but until there is any proof of that, as far as I am concerned, this is a case of greed from both parties. The couple wanted to get as much money as they could by applying for as many green cards as they could and the applicants wanted their piece of the 'American Dream' and were willing to get a green card through fraudulent means. I might change my perception if I knew more about the 'victims'. Did any of the victims not have enough to eat and survive in Nepal so HAD to come to the US for the sake of survival? Did any of the 'victims' have to flee Nepal because the Maoist threatened to kill them? Did they have no where else to go out of fear for their life and HAD to come to the US and HAD to get a green card by any means possible? . Nepal ra Nepali ko jaya hoos!!!
