So there is an advantage to those who have a SS number and already a valid Texas driver's license. DPS can never have access to the status of individuals on the basis of SS number because the homeland security will never share its databases to any other government agency. They believe it is their hard earned database over many years which they will not easily give it to anybody else. They believe if DPS needs information, collect yourself, hahaha funny but it is the reality.  Many agencies have sued DHS for not letting information available, but all lost. DHS is very powerful with all the revenue collected under SS number which do not match with the names. So, basically SS administration is earning taxes from people who do not exist officially,
