Sajha squabbles are comparable with sibling squabbles. Even siblings have differences and they may have quarrels and fights but when it's time to unite for a family activity they will come together. Similarly everyone in sajha comes with their own unique backgrounds, beliefs and aspirations and it is natural that many things may not be agreeable to everyone due to everyone's uniqueness. BUT, there is one subtle thing that ties us all together, and that is we are all Nepalis who love and care for Nepal and Nepalis.

People may make their own personal interpretation of things because of their own preconceived notions or beliefs, which may or may not be agreeable to everyone and that is precisely why people are free to express their own personal opinions in sajha.

Speaking of personal interpretations, let's take the history behind sajha. Sajha was NOT started with any commercial objectives. In fact sajha WAS started as a public service site to provide a common grounds to discuss issues and ideas related to Nepal and Nepalis. It was only later that commercial interests were injected into the site by the sheer economics of demand and supply. It was only after commercial entities showed interest in promoting their products/services, that sajha entered a sort of passive commercial phase. Although commercial interests of other entities are provided exposure within sajha, the core aim of service to the public has not changed in all these years.

As far as the sajha page in facebook, it does not benefit sajha in any way, shape or form. That is exactly the reason why sajha never opened an official sajha page. I have already outlined the reason for opening the page in my first post in this thread. Simply restated, sajha facebook page has potential of being able to be a sort of common Nepali platform in facebook for people who have democratic aspiration for Nepal and it could serve as a communication medium in times of political disturbances, instead of having to rely on individual pages that sprout up during such times. Again, in the spirit of sajha discussions, you have every right to question or analyze every possible scenarios!

Competition has never been a goal of sajha, it's always gone with the flow taking suggestions from users, to try to make the best out of what is available, with respect for individual opinions and ideas. It is fun to watch the sajha bus go with the flow of its members thoughts and ideas.

Let's keep it rolling...
