Talking to journalists at Tribhuvan International Airport upon arrival from India's Mumbai on Tuesday, Thapa argued the 'erroneous' peace agreement between the seven parties and the then CPN (Maoist) pushed the country to instability and chaos.
Thapa also said that the Mumbai conference, attended by extreme Hindus decided to launch a coordinated campaign to re-establish Nepal as a Hindu state. He added, all power will be used to turn Nepal a Hindu nation.
"When Nepal was a Hindu state, its glory had spread internationally and we took pride being Nepali people, but now that is not happening," Thapa said.
Mentioning that efforts by the parties to extend the term of ConstituentAssembly as illegal, Thapa said fresh mandate is necessary since promulgation of the new constitution is impossible by May 28. nepalnews.com
