devteam has been working on it for quite a while now...even though they have it they wont release it as soon as they see a new 4g coming , they might...hopefully this summer
I have read somewhere that it could be tethered...i haven't read into it though...haven't had to as of yet
my advice: DO NOT EVER UPDATE YOUR IPHONES UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED TO, cuz you can pay for its hefty data plans by selling the old ones after your contract is eligible for upgrade, at least thats what I have done and will do in the future.
