I am pretty sure illegal can get housing and food stamp only if they have kids born in USA. The parents won't be eligible but parents can file housing,food stamp, and medical for their children citing low income. This country treats illegal and legal kids same as long as all of them are born in USA , there are plenty of loopholes. Here is one scenario, if the illegal mom is giving birth to the baby in USA, the three days costs will be foot by government because the baby is citizen.That is what happens in California and Arizona.
