grgDai,

You are simply wrong. I have never supported maoist and their political ideology. I support the issue of federal restructuring of Nepal. Some people misunderstand the issues as the maoist issue just because they have pushed this issue stronger than other parties. Those people,  who think the federal restructuring is a maoist issue, simply forget that all parties (except Kamal Thapa's RPP) agreed on this very issue when they launched the interim constitution of New Nepal. I have no doubt that the maoist party is offering lip-service only for political benefit without a serious effort to solve the complicated issues.

With time our understanding and perceptions change. I was surprised when Madhav Nepal lost election from his both constituencies, and candidates like Prachanda/Gachchedar/Yadav bagged overwhelming votes. I considered MKN as a better person than GPK but now it is apparently clear that MKN is the most incompetent person in Nepal. His voters knew exactly that long before his real test.

My support to seven party alliance was for demolishing the autocratic
unitary regime of Shah-Rana elite. The way Gyanendra ruled the country
was a hopeless exercise. We did not know the truth behind SPA, the
original hindi version of their 12-pt agenda, etc. etc. which is now
totally exposed. I did not support SPA since the day Bijukche revealed
the fact behind Delhi-summit to the public, and no one dared to reject
it. It is unfortunate to get cheated so wildly by the SPA but I still do
not support Gyanendra and co. either. All of them are wolves of
different color.

In this thread, I am venting anger against the maoist coercion, which is pushing the public toward a huge grief. You should realize that the majority of the public are maoist voters. Perhaps they are happy to provide logistics or perhaps they have no choice than to support maoist. Whatever be the reason, I see the long term consequences (mass immigration, further degradation of environment, and more urban crimes) are unavoidable.

I am sad none of the political forces are serious enough for positive development and seeking a solution. All of them are wolves of
different color. Now, we need a new wave of people, like the one atomic mentioned above.
