I will make small change to your point 2 .......Peaceful protest should be encouraged
In Nepal any party can protest blocking roads, causing traffic havoc and affecting small shops etc in the name of peaceful protest. Every party that have done andolan in nepal has said they were having peaceful protest.
When Former Ex-Gurkha wanted to protest in Britain they had to take an appointment with british government. The government then gave them time and place to protest. The ex gurkhas, medias came to that place at that time and protested. No traffic was blocked, no other people were affected. That is what we call a peaceful protest.
We should not infringe on other person rights in the name of protest.
