I see your point pret aatma....but ur making your argument with a naive assumption that the filmmakers/producers are exploiting people by making money from them.....the point ur missing here is that  film-making is an organized industry in India...much like in the US....the industry employees hundreds of thousands of people ranging from the actors to technicians, distributors, cinema hall employees and so on. Take this into perspective....there are thousands of cinema halls in India that employee hundreds of thousands of people....also the music industry in India predominantly is based on the film industry.......i don't know what argument u were trying to make about capitalism in India....its a well-known fact.....most countries in the world r trying to move towards capitalism....and India is on the forefront of this endeavor......if u are completely against capitalism then that's a whole different topic altogether.....but the fact that u have singled out the entertainment industry tells me that you do not understand the underlying dynamics that drive an industry's success.....its not just that there are these bunch of producers who invest money and make a whole lot of profit out of the hard earned money of the people of a country still fighting with poverty......instead, thousands, perhaps millions, of people share the benefits either directly or indirectly and there's a net benefit for society as a whole....why are you not concerned about the success of the service and manufacturing industry in India???why do feel that the entertainment industry being successful is a problem???feel free to comment
