Issue is not about commitment. I can show you a lot of cases of committed married couple who have cheated, lied etc. and I believe the number far exceeds the couples who are not married and yet you believe the bond is stronger? I can tell you even unmarried people can have the same level of  commitment displayed by married couple, without having to go through the hassle of getting married and putting the pressure and stress that comes along with it. The impending issue is the unfair treatment of these unmarried couple by the law, society etc.
