Scumbags like Kaushal Niroula and Pankaj Joshi, who tried hard enough to make "Nepal" or "Nepali" name synonymous with "crime", launch compliments like "Smart!" or "Genius" from fellow Nepalese.
Yet Prabal Gurung, a young immigrant from a third world country, who creates wardrobes for the aficianados of contemporary uber-fashion, gets cussed at just for being himself. That's exactly what's wrong with the offsprings of people who run a dysfunctional country like Nepal. Still, as he indicates in the article, he is not resting on his laurels and adds that he has "miles to go before he sleeps".
My opinion is : Excellence can be attained in any legit field and win glory for home country and provide inspiration for fellow people.
