?
Hello guys,
I needed some help with the tax form. I am an undergraduate student. I received the tax form 1042s which reports gross income of around 19500$ (tax rate =14, income code = 15, exemption code = 00). I was wondering if I can get any deduction for the category "Scholarship and fellowship grants excluded". The IRS web says about using the amount used for tuition and books and stuffs. But I am confused.
Also, I have got W-2 and 1042s. Is 1040NR-EZ the right form?
Thanks! Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
