Namrata Shrestha at the Nepal Tourism Year Inaugaration Rally
Nepal Tourism Year 2011 - the goal is to get 1 MILLION TOURISTS hopefully,
what do you guys think about it? do you think itll be a success?
the tourist arrivals for February recorded a 33% increase which was 33,492 arrivals by air.
Increase such as that multiplied by 12 would only give us around 400,000 visitors.
Even a record high of 50,000 tourists a month would not be able to reach the goal, however the economy will indeed benefit from rise in tourist arrivals even if the goal isnt met.
Most of the users here are from the US etc, so do any of you have plans to visit Nepal next year?
