Do you know what happens if you drink alcohol when you are under treatment of Jaundice?

Jaundice can be caused by too many red blood cells retiring, by the liver being overloaded or damaged, or by the inability to move processed bilirubin from the liver through the biliary tract to the gut. Causes in adults include:One of my High School Friend passed away because he was not fully recovered from Jaundice and drank alcohol. Alcohol during jaundice will be toxic.

Is it a suicide or lack of information ( he had internet access as well good job position), or just  a Negligence??
