There's no such thing as a cheaper car insurance. It all depends on your personal status ( i.e. Educational background, age, location and the insurance companies themselves ). For many, Progressive might be the cheapest one around while for the others, Geico is the one. I'm currently insured with Geico and the rate they've offered is 30 bucks less than what Progressive offered. So go figure.

Btw, you might wanna focus on staying with a particular company. It really helps. However, after 3 years or so, running a quote from a different company won't harm.
