I don't understand why one has to have the "no objection letter" from Labor Dept in Nepal. I never had to have one under H1B while travelling.  If you had had your H1B petition file in US while you are in US, I don't see the logic why you need to have the "no objection letter" while trying to have the H1B visa stamped.

The folks Tribhuwan Airport did asked me to produce the "no objection letter". The above was my argument. Headed to the plane.


So I think this "no objection letter" for the above situation is another "hungama" (in your word) !
