Application Deadlines and Information for Prospective Transfer Students
F-1 transfers from U.S. high school/college/universities must provide verification of status prior to receiving an I-20 from North Lake College. An Academic/USCIS Standing Formmust be completed by the last school attended and be faxed or mailed directly to the International Center.

It is the student's responsibility to complete the necessary transfer paperwork in a timely manner and to request SEVIS release from the former school upon confirmation of acceptance at North Lake College.

Be aware that students who are released in SEVIS and have not received admission to North Lake College will be out-of-status and will have to file for reinstatement. This is a lengthy, costly process and a fee will be required.

Spring Semester - December 1
Summer I and II - May 1

International students may NOT apply online.

*Student must report to North Lake College by the designated date (as stated in acceptance letter) to attend mandatory orientation and complete the state required Reading, Writing and Math assessment test.
