My friend Pure_Enquiry, thanks for your reply. Sorry if my responses have offended you. That was not my intention at all.

It is true that we all have beliefs and what not. The points I have recollected in my response are not just my own but I have taken the cream out of many religious philosophical aspects of the world. For the evidences, sorry but you have to ask yourself. If you say there is no difference between a dead and a living body, I have nothing to say. If you say life can be manufactured by dead elements such as chemicals and by chemical reactions, I have nothing to say there either, nor can you prove it to me. We cannot make a firm statement based on "it might happen in the near future", that would not make a logical argument.

Yes modern science has established many things, which I take positively. In fact, the computer I am typing in right now is also a gift of technological advancement. But has it provided happiness? Maybe it provides happiness for a while, but after some time it goes away. Imagine you are fantasizing about a car. You think, "If I get this car, I will be the happiest person in the world." You get the car, the very first day you actually are the happiest person in the world. But after a while, the amount of pleasure you gain from the car is lessened day by day. This is the nature of material things, they become old and degrade and they give us an illusion of happiness.

Our real identity is spiritual, and only spiritual happiness can be satisfying to us. We are seeking this happiness all the time but we don' know it. We try to replace that with material and temporary happiness, which is even destructive at times. Once that happiness is sucked out, we begin searching for another source of happiness. Just like a thirsty traveller in a desert who thinks every mirage is water. Once we reconnect with our spiritual self, everything becomes proper, and our thirst is quenched. I don't hate science, but I don't agree with some aspects of it which alienates us with ourselves and with the Supreme.
