no need to worry about your wife till you LCA is approved which may take 6-10 months from the date of filing unless audited.
only when ur LCA is approved , then u need to consider ur wife while filing. Your wife shud be in in legal status during all processes. It doesn't matter which status(F1, H1, H4 or anyone) she is in as long as it is legal.
