Speaking from personal experience and not assuming things.

During my collage years, I did have few Muslim friends from all over the world, Yemen, Saudi, Algerian, Paki, Bangla to name few. These were well educated guys from descent families attending good schools, some ultra rich, they followed everything Western except the faith. So these are my experience

1. You cannot make them listen to anything about other religion. They lack tolerance and compassion or even the slightest interest in other religion except Islam.

   
   

2. Men alive a double standard, way too much than us. They can date and have sex with any women (mostly non Muslims) but not their women. My Saudi friend used to change girlfriends more than his underwear, so did the other rich Saudis whom I did not know well enough. They were sex manics, money to throw like water, ultra expensive cars.

   
   

3. These same guys used to get upset over the thought of their Muslim woman's infidelity. Muslim women should only stick with their own, is what they firmly believe. They eventually end up marrying a Muslim women (usually preferring fresh, virgin) despite all their affairs, and they also expect their wife to at least wear a hajab (very liberal one), the more the cover on their women, the better. Imagine, what those illiterate fundamentalist villagers would do? No wonder, they have honor killing of their daughter and stoning women to death.

   
   

4. Very ethnocentric. Most really do not care of geography. Some of them never cared where I was from despite me being their friend. I showed them few time the map of the world, including where Nepal was. They look at world map very differently...Muslim countries Vs the rest (including us), which is one gigantic enemy waiting for an opportunity to strike Islam as soon as they turn their back. I used to think some of these guys were paranoid.

   
   

5. They hate everybody and do not TRUST non Muslim if they have to accept it honestly. They think their rules are the best. God, they have no manners even with that much wealth and education, they simply refuse to learn the Western values. I barely saw any of them hold doors for the person behind, esp Saudis who think in terms of royalties and luxury. Words like “thank you, please and excuse me” are rarely used.

   
   

All and all, I felt like these guys are NOT to be kept close for long. So eventually I starting keeping a distance and now I'm free from them except for one, who is a Bangladeshi. I've found them more tolerant, more like Muslim from India, or maybe they have no time to be a hard core since they are busy with corruption back home. Just a guess. They hate Pakis cause of the history.

Somebody mentioned Pakis being very peaceful referring to the smooth and gentle language of Urdu. Buddy, you've been watching too many Pakitani TV shows. Know the reality, history and experience them in real life. Grow up son. Pakistan is a breeding ground for Taliban and other Jihadis where little kids are taught to hate and blow up people, brainwashing at Madras that are all over the country, an outcome cause of poor, unstable, corrupt and frequently changing power in the government.
