newlynew: like you, I did my undergrad in EE too. and you are right, EE is not a very hot when you just have college degree here because lots of manufacturing jobs have moved overseas. but i think there are plenty of jobs here in US in EE if you have master or Phd. but PHD is something that lots of people are not interested in.

Looks like you are doing your master in quantitative finance. please tell me more about it and why you chose that field. i know it's a very demanding job especially in wall street but why did you choose it and now why are you planning to go back to EE.

right after my graduation with EE, i moved to IT field because i couldn't find job in EE and now i am working in a financial sector on wall street. because of exposure to various financial domain, i am planning to do quantitative finance or financial engineering in future because now i am equipped with all the things that i need to get that degree and move my career in that direction. i think it would be great if we share our knowledge on this topic.
