DineshK, First of all you have a right to ask for separate country for Khas. I do not advocate what is going on on the basis of jaat. But if it is going to happen, like every other community Khas should have too. If Newar can be in janajaati and adibashi why not Khas. Mighty Khas had a prsent in western Nepal to Kasmir to Khasgar to Caspian sea. All those names have link to Khas.

Every jati has a history and thing to be proud of , and there should be thing to be disgrace off too. Now you have talked about Mallas being Khas and not Newar. But before answering that look at the history of Malla long before they appeared in valley or in western Nepal. They were one of the janapda during the time of Buddha and was destroyed by King Ajatshatru of magadh (Magar King) shortly after death of Buddha. Malla ran out of the Kushinagar and went to shelter of himalayas, some went to valley and became Newar and some went to Gandaki and further west and became part of Khas.

And you do not have to shout and reply with bad mouth to bad comments, Take it easy. Who is what and whose culture is how developed do not need to be spoken. Just look around and you will see the evidence of great civilization in its architecture, technology, music, arts, crafts, trade and conquests.

You might be a khas and I a newar now, but who knows what you were or I a thousand year ago, two thousands year ago. Only thing for sure is we all are descendant of monky. so please do not try to spill the ethnic hatred.
