People acutually gone Nepal

i know a few people who actually returned after their education or after working for few years.  However, the number is very small compared to the number of nepali students coming to USA these days.  Number of students coming here almost reached 9000 per yer now.

I agree with one of the above posts that it is good to have higher degree if one really wants to go to Nepal and do something for country and society.  having an undergraduate degree is enough in USA for most of the jobs and people gain experience and value experience.  however, in case of Nepal, they love higher degrees.

Further,  i also agree with someone above who wrote, it may be better for those who have degree in social sciences/business to go back so that they can get jobs in different NGOs, INGOs, and banks rather than those with technical degrees.  It is not easy to find job here in social sciences and business if you dont have a degree from really good school, however it is fairly easy for one to find a job in technical field here in USA.  In addition, i heard that banking sector, NGOs, and INGOs pay pretty descent salary in Nepal, while entry level salary for science/engineering graduates is not attractive at all.

Regarding other issues such as banda, shortage of water and electricity, people will manage to live in such environment since we all came from same environment just a few years ago.  I would worry more about job and security over these issues.

Also, if someone wants to return, s/he has to make decision quickly after compliting education.  In my opinion, it will be difficult to return back due to various reason if one stays here longer.
