see, this is what amuse me. ur answer is similar to one guy who was asking about no. of nepalese in US. when i wrote ~150,000, he said there should more than that because his seniors came to US in the 1980's. he assumed his flock of seniors represented 1/2 of nep. pop. in US. same thing here, instead of providing average stipend, u presumed that all US uni. pay that standard amount as ur college pays. see 20 nep. in MIT etc do not represent total no. og nep.students!! we have ~ 60 nep. grads and in various fields and don't make that much money.

u started ur first comment saying - biological sciences pay up to ~32 k. would have been better if u had said, MY college pay this much instead of flying off with mentioning top notch colleges and their stipends. hope these neps. will do smth for the country. i have been trying so far and will coninue to do so. i am in biosceince too. amen!!!
