Show me EFFORT.  Commander in chief of two ongoing wars...and you are talkign about efforts. Your agrument about effort is as baseless as it gets.  Obama has not said anything concrete about Iraq or afganistan. What about innoncent trapped inside Guantanamo Bay ....or what about isreal-palestine.............wounds of
Gaza... still ozzing with blood...and
to add insult to injury....US is still inside Iraq and Afghanistan!!! . for god sake thats not their country and they are not their in a peace mission like many Nepalese army in congo.

Nobel peace prize is for those people who puts efforts, ideas and visions to shape the world's political dimension for good.

What vision that augurs.  My point of this thread was not to say Girija deserved noble prize. I believe if there was no girija there would not have been maubadi. But my point is at the current context obama hasn't done anything for peace even as much as girija.

In 6 months of Obama US got a trillion debt. More money poured into iraq and afganistan on so called war.  Imagine how many job cuts all over the world.
