We all have been through this stage again and agian. In my last visit to pasupatinath temple, as the blog originator was forced by mother so I did by my beloved wife. It was a weekday we went to Pasupaninath, I stayed over half and hour on queue with pujaa thali, my wife did not put 100 or 50 rupees bill but a 5 ruppe note. The priest was holding chandan and looking someone to give. I looked around; no one was stretching hand for it. I told him may have it, as he heard me clear in NEPALI, I saw lines and color changed in his face. He was still looking around to pass it to the devotee, again I looked around and saw nobody, I did not hesitate to ask again, he did not budge and I heard him murmuring and real upset. I was upset too because there is no reason for him to be upset. I could not stop myself scolding him as I used to do it in my child hood. My wife saw it and may heard me. She was scared and shouted to me, " forget every thing just throw that inside and step down" and added " you are a trouble maker, can not be done any thing simply and right". It fueled me but you can not do any thing to your highness. Just another swear, never step to that stairs and ask for chandan from this bastard.
It is not the first time happen to me ,even to the very first time I was just in town, my distant cousin took me, then I looked like a typical Nepali ( pakhe) {It is what Sahariya like to be proud of saying others, and same people like to throw the चो ख: out of their window, no worry who is passing by the road}. Never felt going back to the temple. Not gone with my own feeling either I was dragged or just to please somebody.
It is true and believed since then, the money goes to Pasupati should be going to the fund not in Indian's pocket. In India, they have organized many temples very well and the money collected run many institutions. Why can not we?
We do politics, and only politics. I wish the ex-king had done some minor
changes and some regulation regarding pasupantinath, it would have gone okay.
But why should he?? मरे पछी डुमै राजा
