D are you son of gurkha in UK. You must be carrying a knief in UK rahter than doing masters in UK according to satellite .

Anyway, ILR is a compicated matter. Some Universities require you to be resident of UK for 3 years to be accepted as a home student fees. Some Universitiy does not require that condition.  If you have british citizenship then their would be no problem. For ILR every university has own rule. So you need to try different universities and try to find out wether your application falls under that.

By the way you will see number of old people doing masters . Its not that uncommon.
