Elixir, ur academic achievement is impressive and it doesn't hurt to put ur IT background on ur resume, infact people do MBA to change their career , u can explain this to them. I suggest you to apply to big 4, E&Y, KPMG, Deloitte, PWC,  they are looking for people who has MBA these days.  I think they have hiring freeze right now but apply in late augest to first week of september , that is when they hire people most for entry level. americanboy-Delaware has the least criteria out of all states for CPA certificaion, even though the exams are uniform. U only need associate degree to sit for exam in delaware, it might have changed just check with them. go to www.beckercpa.com and find out the requirements.
