As far as i know, it also depends on completion date on I-20 and your passport expiry.
If your I-20 date is similar to your visa expiry, then there is no way u can reenter at the date u mentioned.
If your I-20 completion date is like DEC 2010 and ur passport expiry is no less than 6 months from the time u reenter, then u should have no problem theoretically.
Its my suggestion not experience, anything may happen.
