how can you have a no-trash discussion when you start by bitchslapping all who don't agree with your views? ;)

But, I do agree that division of our already minuscule nation further
into sub-atomic regions will not solve any of our problems, but will
rather worsen the ones we already have. Water electricity food.

How would anyone be able to manage that? such and such region wants to "break free" from nepal.

Imagine an apartment, and there are 2 rooms and 4 roomates (common
senario for the overseas student right?). Recently, there has been
friction amongst the roomates. Would you think it possible for them to
start living exclusively in just one area of the apartment? They would
very much like to think that it would be ideal for them. F@ck the other
three, I'll get my own private section. What about shared resources?

Who gets the restroom? Who gets the kitchen? Sure you can take your
damn desktop and stuff it in our corner, but what about the carpet?
That doesn't belong exclusively to you? And things like electricity and
heat bill. Wouldn't it be more of a headache to get a voltmeter and
start recording the amount of ohms per day that your electric shaving
machine uses so that you can exclusively pay for ONLY the amount you
used?

Once you split, you'd have to divide straight down, and it brings into
play variables that were previously uncalled for when living together.
What if he steps over his geographical boundry? Or leaves his $h!t in
my area? I get to do what I will with it?

The more we divide and alienate ourselves the more trouble we actually
create for us. A lot of things in life cannot be handled by just one
person alone. One can't go rambo into a gold mine and carry out
everything on his own.

Ever wondered why bigger countries were more prosperous? ever wondered
what effect surface area has on granules of sugar dissolving faster in
your tea than just one big solidified sugar crystal? The power of
multiplicity provides benefits that cannot be achieved by the solitary.

30 million people packed in a 4000 sq km landlocked mountainous
paradise does not facilitate frictionless interaction, but we have to
do what is necessary given our conditions/situations to accommodate
ourselves and satisfy the will to live.

And that is the million dollar question which we haven't been able to
decide an answer to. What is necessary? Some say lets split, some say
lets join india, some say lets loot and kidnap the richer elements of
society. Good or bad, it doesnt matter. The necessity at hand is being
addressed.

Do we need a new flag? Do we need a new national anthem? I dunno, maybe
we do, maybe we dont. We just need to evaluate our needs and wants with
more focus and determination.

What we DO need is a bit of unity and trust. We need to reassess
ourselves as Nepali citizens. We need to relearn our constituion, and
its rights. We need to reshape our outlook and the way we look at each
other. We need to redesign our principles and goals to ensure our
survival in the new world. We need to resurrect that lost feeling of
pride once attached to our homeland and its 'peacefulness'. We need to
redeem ourselves in the eyes of our brothers and sisters. We need to
realize.

Let the bitchslappings begin!
